Mymayt was created for the conversations that don’t seem to fit anywhere else.
I created Mymayt because I have sat in professional spaces many times and often felt like I couldn’t say everything I wanted to say. I found myself putting a filter on my thoughts, feelings, and experiences out of fear of being judged, labelled, analysed, or misunderstood.
Instead of speaking freely, I would sometimes say what I thought was expected of me, knowing I was being assessed or quietly figured out. That awareness made it difficult to say what was actually on my mind — especially the heavier thoughts — because even a simple expression used to explain a situation could be taken the wrong way or interpreted as something it wasn’t.
Sometimes professional support is necessary. But sometimes people simply need a space to speak openly and think things through without that kind of framework.
Mymayt is a paid, private conversation service designed for people who want to talk things through with someone outside their everyday life.
It is not counselling, therapy, psychiatry, or mental health treatment, and it isn’t built around clinical processes, assessments, or diagnoses. The focus is simply straightforward conversation — honest, grounded, and human.
Some people come to get things off their chest. Others want perspective, honesty, or simply the chance to hear their thoughts out loud without interruption. Sometimes the conversation is light-hearted, sometimes reflective, and sometimes uncomfortable in the way real conversations can be.
The conversations are structured, but ultimately led by you. There’s no expectation to speak perfectly or explain yourself in a certain way. You can show up exactly as you are.
If you want direct feedback or honesty, I can offer that too — like a mate would.
At its core, Mymayt is about creating space for straightforward conversation without the pressure, labels, or over-analysis that can sometimes make people hold back elsewhere.
Simple. Private. Straight-up conversation.
If you’ve read about Mymayt, you’ll know it sits in a niche category of its own. It’s designed for people who want a straightforward conversation with someone outside their everyday life — a space where you can be genuinely yourself without all the extra pressure, overthinking, or feeling like you need to explain yourself perfectly.
